Dance Matrix & Company (DMC) was formed in 1993 as a performance dance company. Performances included: Dodd Auditorium, Germanna Community College, Dance Place, Even & Arts, Old Walker Grant School, Danville Arts Festival, Dorothy Hart Community Center, Franklin Park Arts Center, The Old Silk Mill, Windmere Performing Arts Center, The CRRL Theater, area nursing homes and schools and 7 years of Fredericksburg First Night performances. 

Re-emerging as a 501c3 in January 2017, DMC expanded to be a performing arts prduction company. We have produced eight Performing Arts Festivals, given benefit performances for The Fairy Godmother Project, The SPCA, Empowerhouse, Downtown Greens, the Friends of the Rappahannock, Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank, Loisann’s Hope House, The ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation, Parks and Recreation Senior Citizens group, The Boys & Girls Club, and the Children’s Hospital of Richmond.

Since 2017 we have supported over 125 individual Professional Performing Artists and Companies. Many of them return to perform multiple times. We support all performing arts schools and have offered performance opportunities to many students, and their home studios.
